A federal grand jury in Hartford announced that they would be indicting Wakeman, Ohio resident Robert Dudukovich, charging him with five counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of aiding and abetting the transport of child porn.
The indictment states that between July 10 last year and Oct. 4, Dudukovich managed a chat group on “Kik,” a messaging app that allowed he and a group of others to “communicate about their sexual interest in young boys and to share and trade child pornography primarily depicting young boys engaged in sexually explicit conduct.”
According to John Durham, the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, Dudukovich shared images and videos of child porn with the group, including one person from Connecticut.
The porn included videos of a minor engaged in sexual acts with another minor, and a video of a minor engaged in a sexual act with an adult. Dudukovich also shared a link to his Dropbox account, which had additional images and videos of minors.
The indictment was returned on Aug. 30 and Dudukovich was arrested on Wednesday. He appeared in District Court in Toldeo, and is currently being detained pending his transport to Connecticut.
If convicted, Dudukovich faces a mandatory minimum term of five years in prison and a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for each count. The case has been assigned to the United States District Court in New Haven.
